2008 Show News:

*Fredericksburg, VA~ We exhibited in the first show on Saturday, then took a break for some much needed rest and exhibited again at Sunday's show. At Saturday's show, Alana placed 3rd Best Novice and Adina placed 10th Best Novice... Nice work, girls! I think one of Alana's cagemates got jealous and mangled her tail after the show; so she sat out Sunday's show. :( .. Meir took her place and went 5th Best Novice on Sunday. That's my boy! :D .. I didn't get very many pictures, and the ones I did take weren't very good, but I'll do better next show. ~I hope~

*Terre Haute, IN~ Not such a long drive this time, so why not do both Saturday shows? Lol. Poor Adina was so tired by the end of the day on Saturday that she was a bit 'wobbly' on her perch while she was sleeping. She did well though! Adina was quite the trooper, placing 10th on the Novice Bench under Josh Maple on Saturday, and placing 7th on the Novice Bench under Conrad Meinhart on Sunday. Alana placed 3rd on the Novice Bench at both Saturday shows, under Josh, and Scott Mackey; and she placed 2nd on the Novice Bench on Sunday under Conrad. Meir placed placed 9th Best Novice on Saturday under Scott. ... We had one Top Bench placement, lovely Isabelle, bred and banded by Sabrina Hull of Feather's Up Aviary. ... I know I said I'd do better with the picture taking this show, but alas, I left my camera at the hotel on Saturday, and was so rushed on Sunday that I only got 2 pictures that came out; the rest were blurry. :( .... It appears that Adina has adopted a 'show photo pose' for just such occasions, as you will see from her pic, lol. No ribbon for Izzy's pic, they only gave them to the top 5 Top Bench winners at this show. :( ...Anyway, enjoy the pics!
